Hullvibe toddled on down to attic this Saturday to check out their new night Radiohedz. posted: Jul 3 2007, 15:33Wed been politely invited by one of the managers and were more than happy to shake our hullvibe thang all over the club, snapping up pics and giving out FREE SHOTS!
Radiohedz is a new night thats only been going for a few weeks now, and this was the 1st time Id checked it out for myself.
With it being your average jo Saturday night I immediately convinced myself that itd be packed full of Pi**heads and murder to get to the bar and as for dancing.... forget about it.
I WAS WRONG! WOOHOO!
Getting to the bar and getting served was easy (far easier than on a Tuesday night) and the dance floor just called out your name with its funky beats.
I really have no idea why it wasnt rammed to the max, it was great!, a Saturday night in a nightclub and I could quite comfortably get to the loo, dance floor and bar without having 14 missed calls and messages asking Wer R U?
I hate those Saturday night tunes that you hear round town on a Saturday, it’s all the same stuff... apart from at Radiohedz.
I think its the only place in town, definitely the only place down George street that can REALLY give you something to dance too if your into your dance beats.
Its not your average RnB, Chart, Dance or Pop, the DJ puts on a spread of Indie remixes and mixes of all your new favourites like the Klaxons dance version remix, and I even heard a wicked version of Gnarles Barkley’s Crazy! Honestly, some tunes, you can REALLY stick your stilettos into. Theres none of those songs that your just sick of listening too because all your favourites are re-worked into funky new ones!
So if you’re an Indie Groover with a dance twist, this is EXACTLEY your thing!
If you were there on Saturday night and we caught a glimpse of you on camera YOU could be the winner of a years VIP entry to Attic or a Bottle of Champagne!

WASNT FULL OF THE USUAL DRUNKERN LOUTS YOU GET ON A SATURDAY NGIHT ROUND TOWN. TICK!
DIDNT HAVE TO QUEUE 10 BLOKES DEEP TO GET A DRINK. TICK!
MUSIC TASTE THAT SUITED EVERYONES PALLET. TICK!
DANCE FLOOR THAT ALLOWED YOU TO SHAKE YOUR THING WITHOUT STANDING ON 7 BLOKES, PULLING 2 GIRLS HAIR AND STUBBING 6 PEOPLE WITH YOUR FAG. TICK!
LOVED IT! And Id definitely recommend it to anyone whos stuck to where to go on a Saturday night.

Ive been going to attic on a Tuesday for over a year now and ive not had one single bad night yet, the atmosphere is electric! I decided to head into town the last few Saturdays (not usual practice for me) and checked out attic both times.. Rewind was fantastic, everybody there loved there old school house and packed the dancefloor all night. They even had bar staff going round playing a game of paper scissor stone for a free shot!

After a ‘shit up the arse’ of a Monday and an even bigger ‘shit up the arse’ Tuesday Lauren and I just HAD to get our freak on…..what better way then toddling off to the Sesh! FREE TAXI TO ATTIC…..a definite MUST….. led the way by the hamster boy who introduced us to the ever so nice stinking of piss, fags and booze taxi man….nice as pie!
FREE ENTRY curtosey of the Wonderous Willy Wonka Mac, whos always got a sly cheeky grin and a mic in hand…hiding in his den just left of the stage……what a darling…reminds me a little of Peter Pan…….the guy trapped in the mind of a ripe 21 year old yobster!
Waddling into Attic feeling like a celeb with the bouncer ‘I recognise you’ and ‘we’re on the guestlist love’….although the bouncers of a club recognising you is probably a bad thing :-S
THE ATTIC GAME…… if you don’t get free drinks, just sulk at the barman till you do….works every time ;-) aaaaa the female powers….
JIG JIG DANCE DANCE DRINK DRINK……time to go home….. ended with a bang as I bloody slipped right on my arse going to get my jacket….. classy Luce…
AWARD WINNING MAAAAAAARGARITA!! Love the Margaritas that the Takeaway opposite Attic do….you just gotta have one.. MMMMmm Margaritas! The guys there are like little Turkish Genies…who grant my Margarita wishes everytime.

the acts- last year they had a street dance group called the Bounce. they were amazin
attic rocks!!
plus they have a game thingy at the bar, if ur lucky u culd get free drinks (drinks are generally cheap there tho)

I mostly go to Attic on Tuesdays (Grapevine) and Wednesdays (Reborn) which are both pretty f**king good... Usually manage to have quite a cheap night too, by playing the game and being lucky enough to get a few drinks for free/£1 each... Theyve just started a night called Attic Rocks on the first Friday of every month, which is pretty much a mixture of Grapevine and Reborn as far as music is concerned... so the same kind of crowd too, which tends to be quite chilled out, and generally quite good. This Attic Rocks thing is an after party for The Live Sessions at Barracuda, where they have a live band playing (59 Violets on Fri 2nd Feb) ...Barracuda is free to get in, the drinks are cheap, and the entertainment is class... then everyone usually makes their way to Attic (If you arrive before 11pm its free to get in) posted: Jan 24 2007, 14:51Am definately gonna get myself there every month!! x x x

Went to Attic on sat night, really good venue, nice chilled out crowd, plently of places to rest your feet after busting some moves on the dancefloor, tunes are quality, bar staff swift and smily, will be going again.

On wednesday me and some freinds from work went to sharkeys (good review coming when there is a place for it) and then went to the attic. I could have a short rant about why I didnt like it basicly, music was awful, I thought the drinks couldve been a bit cheaper (im an idiot) and also I left my bloody coat there because i was in such a hurry to leave at 1 o-clock. Love this club, well not so much now but as it was it still has the vibe from the days of Room and i think with all the nights that are moving there it will establish itself again as a quality night looking forward to Rewind going back there, remember the old days when thursday nights people used to be queing upto Dram Shop to get in for Rewind used to be the same for De Ja Vu too, only been a couple ot times since its re birth as Attic for Retox(bank holiday sundays) again another quality night !!! so look forward to frequenting more often once nights become established !!
