I too was down Princes Avenue on Sunday afternoon for a breif moment but chose to go home at the rowdyness of Rugby fans, I usually love to eat in lounge, the food is delish but a sea of back and white and tattoos is enough to turn anyones stomach. It doesnt bode well that ive got a fear of magpies
Thank you bubblesfontana!!
You where not aloud in, wearing fancy dress??.. ha - you should have seen it yesterday... everybody was in fancy dress - all black and white strippy tops..!! looked scruffy as hell...
They should have a dress code really - but yeah,. look after your regulars.. we go for tea at least once a week, and drink in there most sat and sundays!! I wasnt happy yesterday AT ALL!!

I must agree with evelynlaclark!
I eat in Lounge probably more than any other place on Princes Ave, as the food is absolutely delicious!
A little while ago, a grouip of me and about 6 pals decided to spend the Saturday afternoon in fancy dress!
We atttempted to pop in Lounge and was refused entry by the bouncer on the door!!!
He gave us no reason whatsoever and as locals to Lounge we were very annoyed!
Clearly, Lounge have a bouncer, whos the sort of bouncer that gives bouncers a bad name! (ooh that was a mouthful)
Sort it out Lounge! Look after you locals, as we were here long before you were!!!!

I have a HUGE complaint about lounge... although I love this place, love the food etc - I was greatly disappointed last night!!...
Everybody, cast your mind back to when HULL CITY went into the premiership, and the whole city was alive and buzzing... well we went into lounge (as a family - not a big group of rough ar*es!!) and we all started singing Hull City songs... then the bouncer came over and told us all to shut up, and kicked us all out!!
Last night I went to lounge, all HULL FC fans in there singing, (I also want to point out that this is probually the only time HULL FC fans have ever been in lounge as its too far away from the East of the City - unlike us loyal customers who go in there at least twice a week) anyhow, the bouncer didnt kick them out, even thou the language in lounge last night was the worst I have ever heard in there... I said to the bouncer "why are you letting these lot sing in here, but kicked me and my family out when hull city got throu to the premiership"... and he just looked at me I said "because I support rugby"...
Then, about 5 minutes later - HUGE fight outside lounge... I have never seen fighting ever on princess ave, but seeing as "The East rugby fans" where out - there was fighting!!... never saw that after a Hull City game did you Mr.Bouncer???
