Havent been to mods and rockers yet, i shall go. I just wish that the sad little boys and girls who burrow in to look scene would just go to youth club instead.they dont take back cigarettes, they cant down vodka, and they dont know sweet fa about music.seriously, ask them who sid vicious is, or who the lead singer of the smiths is and they dont know.i just want to clarify i am not a bitch, or a hypocrite, because i did go when i was underage (only by a year) but the new look indie kids who think bad attitudes and shoving your elders to get to the bogs is cool, need to just go home. If i see any at leeds fest i will be taking a bag of nappies to throw at them. They just get round my feet. Its annoying.
Do any of you people remember the fantastc Magic Roundabout night run by the Modtastic John Peters??
Youll probably have to be 30 to remember this unique night!
My god, no-one left the dancefloor all night and my love of Julie Driscoll started at Magic Roundabout!
Totally origional and I think Mr Peters should host a reunion!
Another splendid night was Ram Jam, another gem from John Peters, Shane Scott, and possibly also Catman!
Skanktastic shananagans and I was even allowed to ride my scooter in the side door and leave there so no nobs pinched it!
llove the new Mods and Rockers night, but its empty compared to those classic nights!!

I used to like Welly on a Thursday, same as I used to like Spiders. Only now they seem to have the same problems and similar aged audience (Im not suggesting anything untoward but I feel old in there at 25).
I find it strange that some weeks the audience SEEM waaayyyy too young to be in there (I often recognise people Ive turned away from my bar in there looking pretty plastered) and other weeks they seem to have an ID blitz on?
I few months ago myself and some of the staff went down after work (bearing in mind all of my staff are 22 or older) and every single one of us got asked for ID. I normally would applaude this but seeing as 3 of the people we were out with were over 40 this seemed to be taking the piss slightly? One even got refused for not having ID!
Very strange indeed, it used to be a good place to go for a drink after work but now Id just rather stay in mine and carry on.

Thursday nights are getting far too busy, its like a bloomin cattle market, i waited half an hour to get a bloody coke last night as i was busy being the designated driver, it would have been quicker to drive home and get myself one. People are far too pushy and shovey too
