Im gutted i didnt get to go to this gig but all is not lost! theyre playing at lamp on halloween night but the tickets are £7 on the door, not a fiver.
Grace are playing with them too i think but not bothered about them.
Wednesday nights at lamp arent usually very busy and more of a chilled out atmosphere so it should be a better on e than the Hull uni.
The Stage is WAHEY smaller, but maybe thatll be a good thing,
Also it isnt as high up as the stage at the uni, bu at least this one will be a more intimate, packed gig.
I hate going to see bands at Hull uni, ive never enjoyed it and i agree that you have to wait friggin age for a drink at the bar. GRRRR

Had the pleasure with my fellow students to see Hoosiers at Hull uni last nite.To be honest out of our group of six girls only four of us had heard of the band.Me and my fellow oldie friend kept referring to them as the fusiers.
Anyway back to the gig the first band to enter the stage were Lecorum.this band were fab, quite an indie presence that i would watch again and possibly purchase the LP.Their current album is Clockwork they have worked closely with Orson and Hoosiers.
Favourite songs Hideaway,Gone and connected (i think?!),they are due to play in Hull at the Lamp on both October 16th and December 12th.Defo worth the trip to see again.

Second band was:Grace, now due to much disapointment i didnt get to watch any of the performance as i was sttod at the uni bar for forty minutes!!.get sorted and much to my further disapointment i couldnt go outside for a cheeky cig.Although the band did sound very energentic (so bad i couldnt get a piccy for vibe!).

And finally the main attraction was Hoosiers who as i now know sing the hit wooried about ray, which they sang at the end of their set to a lively 250+ audience (iam prone to egzagerate so maybe only 150!?).The band sang their new single Goodbye Mr A which was released on the 8th October. The band were very quirky with a great sense of humour for the hull crowd.Excellent bands, totally worth a fiver, shame about the venue, get it sorted hull uni!!.
