Fuel is an awsome place to be if you want to be your self!
Many other clubs there is alot of tension and you kinda feel abit on edge but not here.
Fuel never fails to impress, from having amazing dancers that you could just watch all night to the glizy dag queens that will have your crying with laughter with there cruid sense of humour.
Fuel constanly changes its look so from month to the next its never the same!
Gay, straight, bi or trans there is a place in fuel for you!!!

Dancing Queens at Fuels Cabaret night...
First things first. Its Wednesday, the middle of the week, which is usually the day where there’s not much going on so you stay in and wait for weekend. BORING!
I went on a venture on Wednesday, confident that there must be some life in the city. And there was.
The City Centre looks like a ghost town on a Wednesday night but i could spot the flashing of lights in the corner of my eye and faint sound of cheesy music coming from number 6 Baker Street. It was Fuel.
I was firstly greeted by very friendly bouncers who i later found hitting eachother accross the face with a rubber penis. HA! Working hard ey boys?
I made my entrance and bobbed along snapping up pics of the friendly faces for the Hullvibe website. Everyone was well up for it. You do get the occasional, ‘No i don’t want my photo taken’ when out spotting but never in Fuel! One girl even grabbed me and gave me a kiss for taking her photo! Honestly i felt like the papparazzi in there!
It got to midnight, everone seemed to be having a good time to the usual Fuel cheesey tunes when on came the drag queens and everyone gathered round the stage to watch the show.
Every Wednesday is Fuels Cabaret night, with Fuel being open so many nights a week you’d think that it’d get boring. But each night is different from the last as they put on something totally different each night and best of all, this nights FREE!
Anyhoo, back to the Cabaret show..
1st Class Drag Queens Raunchy Rusty and Gavina Edwards take the Fuel stage once again. These ladies are far from elegant but make first class entertainment for everyone. I honestly dont know how they come up with such comical brilliant sketches each week. I wasn’t planning on stopping at Fuel for too long, just wanted to grab a few good photos and get off to bed but i just could tear myself away from the show as i took off my cardigan and grabbed a seat.
My favourite sketch of the night had to be the Titanic sketch and as Gavina (Rose) went down with the Ship, got chased by Jaws and then randomly got rescused by Rusty dressed as a very convincing Pamela Andersson! I laughed so hard i think a bit of wee came out.
One of the funniest nights in Hull i’d say and definately something different to your average ‘get drunk and dance around’ night out. Keep up the good work Ladies J
