I agree, it was a great day, the weather was perfect and it was quite well attended. I did expect to see a few more people though. posted: Jul 17 2006, 12:19Fonda 500 were the highlight for me and also for a lot of the people Ive spoken to. I cant think of anything i wouldve rather been doing on Sunday. Sun, friends, beer and great live music.

I was really, really impressed by most of the bands who seemed well up for it
Mak and Alan Raw and the DJ sets in between kept a nice vibe and momentum to the whole day
Agree with other reviewer in that Fonda 500 stole the show for me and kicked the whole thing into life
I certainly hope this is the start of what proves to be a regular thing
Be good to see a local/national mix in future with a few bigger names from outside the area to draw in a bigger crowd, to make some of those who arent aware yet, just how much original talent there is in this area
Top marks to Hanna and Mak and the people involved with the bridge thing for pulling this off anyway

Been there all day, really awesome line up. Missed the last few bands, but the ones I saw were good, especially liked City Ghosts and Fonda 500 were on form. Great day all roung hope it gets repeated next year but on the north bank, think there will be more people.
