Hate to say it but having attended a charity event in King Billy last night I will not be back for a while...
I can never say no to charity so when a friend called me and suggested we attend a race night inc buffet I of course agreed - not my usual kind of night out but ill try anything once!
Clearly this event hadnt been given much time / publicity as we found a very quiet bar and no clear organisation! Luckily I had snaffled a slice of pizza before going out or my stomach would have hated me judging by the looks of the buffet.
My friends and I grabbed a beer and went to play pool - sad to say but we were the most exciting thing in the pub!
After a late start the racing dvd was underway although not enough people were in attendance to make betting worthwhile.
I was pleased to say after a couple of beers and amusingly bad games of pool we decided we had done our bit for charity and headed off into old town....

I know people think this is a pub for older people but Im only in my early 20s and thought it was fab. We started the night there and it was a little quiet until a hunky stripper turned up and the place went mad. The DJ said a few words to egg us girls on, but to be honest he really didnt need to. Even the guys in the there seemed to find it a bit of a laugh. We went on to a few more pubs but we all agreed to go back. I couldnt believe how busy it was. The thing that surprised me the most was the number of young people that were there. I dont think a lot people know that its open until 3am! Its definately the place to be.

Went to KB for the first tiem in ages last night, absolutly rammed! Great Night! Would go again xx
