The Good Natured - Warriors EP
When you open the parcel and you see the personalised touch taken in the making of the EP's, it makes you feel special to be one of the lucky people to own a copy.
And if you thought the look was just the sweetest thing, it just gets better when you play the CD, as the Warriors EP is a beautiful blend of music and lyrics. If it was a smoothie, it would be made of strawberries and passion fruit.
Her lyrics are meaningful and her voice heavenly, with lovely use of the keyboard throughout, with some amazing beats and background sounds. The introduction to Irony Tower reminds me of my Sega Master System days and the classic speedy tunes of Outrun. The addictive, foot tapping chorus in Warriors makes me want to get up and boogie every time I hear it, which can be a problem, as it's normally 7.23am and I'm on the bus to work! Combine this with a voice that compares to that of Kate Nash and you have a well rounded electo-pop-tastic artist.
You will not spend £3 in a better way all year! By far, the best EP I have heard this year.
