| Rating: Posted: Apr 18 2008, 15:56 PMIt's really good on a Monday night The Factory with the all girl dj tag team We are the tits, gets quite busy and it free in
I don't mind Wednesdays either The Nutmeg lounge With Steve and Paddy from the Grapevine @ Attic on tuesdays
Both nights have decent drink promotions couple of quid a pint and 2 for 1 on cocktails if you fancy a posh night ..
the clubs ok bit flash but then we need that kinda thing in our lives on the downside the lighting although real nice for a bar and grill with all the mood changing walls and whathaveyou "i think they call it ambient lighting!!" needs a few more disco type things upstairs to make more of a nightclub area and a difined dancefloor wouldn't go a miss i think its meant to be the corner bit by the dj booth so they could do with pointing a few on there
other than I like it

| Rating: Posted: Mar 22 2008, 20:39 PMWow! jsphgraham I didn't know anyone else was bothered by it also. I did go and see what it was like on one night and also to talk to the manager but he wasn't there. I do also think it's too close to a residential area. The Haworth can be noisy at times but at least we know it all ends at 11pm while Fusion can carry on until 3am some nights.
I think they either need to invest in some more soundproofing or stop the dj coming in. The noise shouldn't be leaving the premises. I think there's a law around that and environmental should know. I'd get onto them about it if you can hear it from your house. Hope it works out.

| Rating: Posted: Mar 22 2008, 20:29 PMTotally agree with lostamerican. The place is a complete dump and should have remained what it was before - an empty car lot.
Ever since the place has opened it's been a noisy nuisance. I do not know what possessed the owner to open a club in a residential area and especially one that is "open until late" because it's not as if any of us have jobs to go to at all during the week! Also there's plenty of bloody clubs all over the city you just need to walk down Newland ave and you're practically tripping over them as for the town centre I guess it's just too much to travel 10 minutes on the bus we need to have clubs right on our doorsteps.
Don't get me wrong I don't want to be a kill joy and I like going out like everyone else I just don't want the club to come to my home!
I hope nobody goes there and the place closes down.

| Rating: Posted: Feb 4 2008, 14:32 PMWOAH! i totally dont agree with your review 'lost american' i thought the new Bar Fusion was great. Great atmosphere and what are you on about 'bad lighting'? there was friggin lights all around the place! and chandeleers (bad speller) too!
The Music was great with funky house and electro to get you in the party mood but then it went onto RnB which i personally arent a fan of (i'd have stuck with the Funky House). I wasn't a fan of the taps in the ladies, just couldn't seem to use em without soaking myself!
It's a really smart venue filled with all kinds of people from students to a few oldies enjoying a bit of electro! The Bar staff were great and the drinks prices were what youd expect.
I'm looking forward to having a look at the food menu during the day
Bar Fusion's got my vote, now i just have to pick which night to go back on! xxx

| Rating: Posted: Feb 2 2008, 14:08 PMDidn't like it. Atmosphere was not very pleasant. Interior was tacky and drinks where really expensive and tasted horrible. The lighting was terrible, to bright, and the music sucked. Definitely not going back anytime soon.
