I think the amount of time and effort which is put in by Paul & Co deserves this to be a night to remember. I think the place should be packed...and there is no excuse...ITS FREE!!!!

Tonite Ringside will become Paradise City , cos we are Out Ta Get You GnR fans , Monday 24th Nov 2008 sees the long awaited release of Guns n Roses - Chinese Democracy , the first album from GnR to include all original music since 1991, thats 17ys , so to celebrate that fact Rock Revival is having a Guns n Roses night tonite.
This is gonna be One In A Million, Tonight i will be playing tracks from Chinese Democracy which is an exclusive to Rock Revival & is the only public airing of the new album "Pre Release" in the Hull area, & this aint no Double Talkin Jive, as well as the new tracks i..ll be playing classic GnR throughout the night , but probably not the tracks youll be expecting (unless of course they get requested) , i know some of you think you..ve already heard Chinese Democracy from the leaks on the internet over the yrs but let me tell you until you..ve actually heard the "FINISHED" product you have no idea just how good this is ,i would go so far as to say this COULD be the best GnR album so far, so if your into GnR Get In The Ring....side tonight between 8pm & 2am & to hear it played LOUD

The pool table will be opened up so you can have free games.
I may put the WII on the big screan for people to play on.
There is nothing booked upstairs but would be willing to listen to anyone who wants to put on a gig/event/party. As long as it does not cost me anything then it will be free (as long as i dont have to pay for a band/DJ/soundman/bouncers)
Also, there is no licence restriction so we close when we close...lol

Stop being a tit Benny... Not everything is about you. Abbie has played here a few times before when Adie Klein put her on amoung others. Thats why she is so "Pro Ringside" before that gig on Tuesday. AND...she is that good, we want to see her back here soon...hence the e-mail.
The "certain guy wouldnt pay and accused me of being in his band or claiming to be" ...i dont think you would have fit in with their image (Think of big butch vikings)...but that is between you too.

Heard what...
The promoter was in a car accident so could not make the gig but did not want to let the bands down so it went ahead. Bands had a good time and the night ran smoothly. I cant think of what else could have happened for "so many things" to have been heard.

I think it is good that another club is opening in Hull. I just heard a roumor that it is taking on spiders but...as you rightly said. It aint a kids club which will be an advantage.
I also know Chippy who will put his heart and sole into it. He is a good lad and a talent to Hull.
I say good luck to it... there again. I aint been to spiders EVER so i have nothing to compare it too (i was too old and dressed too smart...lol)
