This is VERY VERY true. I am of legal age but at the Bad Taste gig at Ringside (epic night and might I add Bad Taste are ze perfect example of a reputable Promotion company) I was without ID (except for NUS card) and had my drinks taken from me. In no way do I disagree with this action as its ridiculous to allow minors to get in a drunken/dangerous state and if it was my club I wouldnt risk the chances either.
In my opinion though, the people at Ringside were very helpful and friendly as my friend is in a wheelchair and they provided a ramp for us to access the toilets back in the club after everyone had left.
Quality people skills cost nothing.

undergroud independant music scene requires underground independant music promoters free from influence of government and commerce.
tax men may be interested to know about it because theyre all in it to grab money and rob us blind but when you consider that theres very little money in it, youre only robbing them of their time and should you be successful... hull of its right to good music.
peace of mind comes from acceptance... accept it and get over it.
