You may remember Rockerfella from back in the day when God was a lad, well, maybe not
quite that far back but you see where I’m coming from. The shop used to be placed in Hepworths Arcade in the City Centre, a snazzy little store filled with a load of vintage wear back in the days before it was ‘cool’ and most people saw it as poggy second hand tripe. Little did they to know that just 2 years into the future the city would be overrun by mini boutiques full of the stuff and indie kids everwhere would be coughing up notes to get their hands on the stuff. The Vintage trend was just starting to kick off in Hull and Rockerfella was one of the first to aid it. Back then there weren’t many shops like it so it’s no wonder that the shop outgrew its boots in just over a year and half.
Rockerfella then got a new home in Waltham Street (opposite Bhs) a much bigger building to cater for Rockerfellas needs. The building itself was leased by Burger King and although the fast food joint did well in producing mass nutritious delights to the people of Hull it just wasn’t enough and before long it went bankrupt and no matter how well Rockerfella was doing, the big whopper took the shop down with it.

Rockerfella was forced to close and was taken out of our lives for a good few years. Now, Rockerfella is back with a vengeance and better then ever, setting higher standards and taking Vintage to another level.

Rockerfella is now open to the public at 47 Saville Street, Hull City Centre and heres just a brief list of what you can find in there;

  • Vintage Adidas Jackets from £20                           Rockerfella 'Back In The Day'
  • The biggest selection of ladies 80’s dresses this side of the Humber from £12
  • The Biggest collection of 80’s boots from £20
  • 80’s Sunglasses
  • Leather Jackets
  • Shoes & Bags
  • Belts from £4

The New Rockerfella, Saville Street

Rockerfella is packed with 2 floors of vintage clothing from top to bottom and are showcasing their Summer and Autumn collections right now.
Owners Phil Waltham and Ricardo Seaton also own a Vintage Wholesale company, The Vintage Warehouse, which is a massive bonus to Rockerfella and means that they receive fresh, new stock every single week so there’s always something new in store everytime you go in and if your after something specific, just ask at the counter and they’ll more then likely to get their hands on something for you.

Rockerfella grab their stock from all over the globe from as far as Japan and even though the shop may be only small, they really do have the biggest selection of Vintage clothing in the area.

Open to the Public 7 days a week
Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm
Sunday 11am – 4pm

Tel: 01482 216053
