Beasleys
Hepworths Arcade

We all know and love that cute little shop in Hepworths Arcade that is Beasleys. Now and again it’s a relief to get away from all of those corporate chain shops churning out mass produced rubbish. And we all hate it when your casually sat in a bar thinking your looking the biz when someone strolls in wearing the exact same outfit. Disaster.
Its bad enough when your queuing up in topshop and then seeing the person in front buying the Exact pair of jeans or top that your wearing.
Bring on Beasleys.
Proud parents Fran & Chris Beasley gave birth to their ‘Beasleys’ baby 30 years ago where it first started out on Kingsmarket in the Old Town. 17 years on it found its home in Hepworths Arcade where it has stayed snug for the past 13 years with the originality of the shop and querkiness well fitted to the Old town, Back of market chic for something, a little bit different and a little bit special.
Specialising in more funky and original labels such as;
Insight

Beasleys don’t only sell the coolest of chill out funky clothes but they’ll also have a dabble with the sewing machiene if something doesnt quite fit for absolutely free! (as long as its from the shop of course! No good for bringing in a pair of your Dads jeans to tailor fit you).
Beasleys is known for being ‘that hide-away shop’ bursting full of colour as soon as you walk through the door like a lit up sweet shop. With a ‘ding’ from the bell on the door, its animated decor will make you lick your lips and rubb your hands together to get hold of the tasty original styles and querky streetwear.
Its always such a breath of fresh air to walk into a family run business, welcomed with a smile and given as much help as possible in finding something you like.
Mr Beasley
You may have come across a local band named ‘Mr Beasley’ in the past and wondered weather there is any connection. Yes!
The name comes from Bobby Beasley, the son of My Beasley who is the brains behind the electronic beats in the band.
You can pop in and see Bob in Beasleys for a copy of their stuff on CD or Vinyl and he’d be more than happy to sort you out.
Beasleys is open from Mondy-Saturday till 5.30pm.
The staff would love to open Sundays too but having the Arcade shut on a Sunday restricts them to doing so.
Beasleys website is coming soon!
