Because were doing nothing illegal, all it is a gathering for people that like marijuana and wish to discuss and share stories. Were not ;advising anyone to bring marijuana with them! but the decissions yours ;)

maybe marijuana "does no harm", but maybe it does. Memory loss, paranoia, depression, psychosis, memory loss. Plus, most people smoke it with tobacco, the harmful effects of which are well-documented.
Im not against weed, Im just a little concerned about the validity of the information and advice on offer at this event, if thats your attitude.
