Leading on from an earlier thread, The Ringside is known as a reputable band venue in Hull. Due to the departing of our dear sound engineer/ promoter Dom (as in hes graduated and got a proper job finally!) were needing promoters to put on gigs here.
If you can string 3 or 4 bands together on a night, flyer it well and pull a crowd in then youre exactly what were looking for. Well help as much as we can and with our new sound engineer Phil (of Introrectalgestation fame) were heading towards a new generation of bands and sounds here at the pub and you might get a few quid in your back pocket to boot!

i would just like to thank ringside for there support in last thursdays Bad Taste Promotions gig!
it went more then well, nearly selling out the place !!!
the sound guy was great and was there straight away following some minor technical difficulties
more then helpful, and i was more then satasfied with the service they offered
so promoters, seriousley get in touch with ringside for future events

I can also confirm that Anna and Wayne as well as all the staff at The Ringside On beverley road are good people to work with, ive never had a problem working with them as they offer good hospitality as well as nice prices. Also with Phil on Sound they only grow stronger in staff.
Plus the hire is very cheap and just the right sized venue for bands.

Ringside is actually one of my favourite places in hull. Seeing as im there for most gigs i can tell you its a fantastic place for bands and a good bar downstairs aswell. Ive never had any hassle from anymore there and its often the opposite cause its a great place to meet new people from hull. and the bar staff are really friendly
