Rock Revival is on this and every Friday here at Ringside, hosted by DJ Lightnin Jack Cane playing your favourite classic and uptodate rock and metal riffs with a few Jagerbombs thrown in for good measure.
Cheap drinks, good music and the occasional slush fishbowl(!), get yourselves down here from 8-late.

We had 3 ft straws...

Fishbowls appear as a thank you to people whove supported out night and to be honest they do have a responsibly diluted amount of alcohol in them.

mmm strawberry slush :-)
Maybe you should set up a slush van, like an icecream van and play rock instead of greensleeves to get people to run outta their houses on a sunny day for some slushy mush. I know i definately would!

We do put a few rock bands on each month like Disarm, Silverjet, and even Levellion played one of our Friday Night (With Dirty Rig and Deadeye). I think the "Fine" have also got on the bill with MITB et al on July 8th. Should be a great turnout.I tell you what, you should get some proper decent rock bands in to pull the crowds in.. come for the band, stay for the music + drink!

Dom is ahe. We dont normally allow gigs on a Friday or Saturday due to the fact that weve normally got functions booked in (and we need to keep the pennies coming in somehow!).Bloody hell haha you know dont ya! TBH, i did not know but that is unimportant. As with all gigs, the promoters hire the room etc and i just get sent flyers etc. If you have had to pull then i am sure the promoter is aware.Bloody hell haha you know dont ya! Haha fair cut, fair cut.
Seriously, Ringside has a wide variety of stuff on - A LOT of punk, a LOT of metal, and a LOT of emo stuff, its had some indie i guess, but it needs some proper balls out rock!! like, RAWK! Towers Of London style.
Kid Ego, New Generation Superstars, Jack Viper, Red Star Rebels, Crystal Pistol, Karn8, Crank County Daredevils who played recently, Junction XIII, The Wildhearts, Ginger & The Sonic Circus.. any of the above!
Kenny x

I think New Gen are booked to play July/August time. They had to pull out of the gig with Disarm so we had to put another band on...but they are good friends with our Rock Promoter and have assured him that they will play the next.Haha fair cut, fair cut.

We have also contacted CCD for another gig but the rest on the list will be passed to the promoter to contact.

I am affraid that the slush machine has broken down so we may just have to have a redbull based fishbowl...toped up with some form of alcohol.
