Having been disappointed by another band with a great sound in days gone by in Silverchair last August, I was apprehensive going to see Jimmy in London last night. Fortunately though they didn't just stick to their new material, which is bordering on mediocre. They interspersed the new with the still fresh sounding hits from their 'jimmy' album such as Salt, Sweat, Sugar on the Asphault Keeping the crowd more than satisfied. I'd gone into the gig feeling exhausted and wondering why i'd driven down after a big weekend of drinking in Hull, but left feeling wide awake, knowing exactly why I make the trip down South so often and looking forward to the next gig... Velvet Revolver in march.. can't wait
