Did anyone catch these crazy siblings in Leeds over the weekend?
I went along to the Saturday night gig at leeds Uni
The new album sounds awesome live, and I reckon they pretty much squeezed in nearly every song from their first two albums as well
Their crowd were well fanatical, even crowd surfing to the bizarre pre-gig music of Belinda Carlisle and Madonna before the lads had even played a note, and all hell broke loose once they did
The band are tight as you like though, and the top tunes came at a relentless pace to the point where I had literally had no sweat left and was gasping for air by the end
They truly are the kings of the 'woooah ooh ohh' infuriatingly catchy, shouty chorus as well
They might want to mention they're from Wakefield just a little less in future, but I guess that may have been to wind up the Leeds crowd
Top stuff, with a sweaty night out at Brighton Beach to top it off
Bloody marvelous!
Didn't enjoy the Wakefield chants either, whats the crack with that?! maybe we should have started our own 'come on you 'ull' chant just to try and out do them. I mean, is there really any need in mentioning Wakefield THAT much? if i was them i'd try and hide the fact a much as possible, not go around shouting about it.
