I went to see The Wildhearts at Manchester Academy last Friday, it was f*cking brilliant!

They've just released a new self-titled album and yet they only played 3 songs from it (It's a great album by the way) so they played all my favourites from the best of album - to any Wildhearts fans who are interested - Headf**k, Caffeine Bomb, Suckerpunch, Vanilla Radio, Just In Lust, Nexus Icon etc...

Was great.

I was so excited/hot/drunk/dehydrated/tired that i actually managed to pass out briefly half way through "This Revolution Will Be Televised".

I'm not a fan but I ended up ,by accident actually, seeing the Wildhearts in Scarbourough in a 1 day festival called Scarborough on the rocks last year. They clearly had a great onstage energy but I was F***ing freezing so they were constantly interrupted by tea breaks lol.
