I heard its been cancelled because of the fights at East Park Rocks?!

WTF?!?!?! Hull Flood Aid is right infront of the bloody police station FFSAKE! jesus christ what is everyones beef with trying to hold decent events in our little city!

are we damned to live in a city of no music, entertainment or excitement for the rest of our lives?!

Anyone know weather its gonna get re-sceduled?

this weekend would have been the perfect weather too, and i doubt we'll have many more after this weekend. its not fair

Isn't Hulls only musical tribute the Mick Ronson stage in Queens Gardens, does this mean Hulls young bands are in effect banned from using it? The council and authorities need challenging on this pathetic clampdown on live music, I say build a new, bigger, permanant Mick Ronson stage in East Park or West Park where live outdoor music events can be held and safely stewarded every summer. Why wasn't this included in the East Park makeover?

it costs an arm and a leg to provide proper security and with so many plonkers out to spoil a good time by getting tanked up and fighting rather than enjoying themselves problems at East Park Rocks could well cause a lot of problems for future outdoor free events in the whole region and not just Hull City Centre as its perfect for the Police to say 'I told you so' and clamp down on other events or present a massive bill for policing them.

Being an old git I remember gigs at Queens Gardens 20+ years ago having drunks arrested by the police so it nothing new unfortunatley but as always the minority shaft things for the majority or is that the other way round in Hull?

yuor gonna get prats ruining any outdoor event in hull, its a fact..Sod the police if they're understaffed to cope with such events. What about the 100s that turn up to hull city matches on a saturday just to stand around and scratch their a*ses

....sod the police, i say it should have still gine ahead, and if kn*bheads wanna fight, let em get on with it, they all deserve a good slap anyways

The difference is that the police that turn up on a match day at hull city are all on very nice thankyou overtime and the police force itself are charging the club a fortune for the privilege of insisting they send twice as many men as are actually needed

They have the club over a barrel as they could make life very difficult for them if they don't agree to it as well

They couldn't get away with that for a charity event so weren't interested

I think its the height of stupidness!
If the police locked up the idiots who fought at EPR in the 1st place then there would be no trouble!

Why does the minority always get to spoil it for the majority?
