East Park Ranger and member of 'Meg Williams Band' Tony Walters is teaming up with Hullvibes Lucy Clark to bring back the East Park festival!
As the Freedom Rocks festival with Keane and Groove Armada Festival got cancelled we thought it was a huge shame to let all the people of Hull down, especially as more people seemed to hear about it being cancelled rather than it actually taking place!
So here we are, its back on! (but not quite on the same scale)...
Its going on from 12.30-8pm and we're having a live stage with all of Hulls best bands including The Paddingtons, Kill Surf City, Ernest, GST Cardinals, Mr Beasley, Fonda 500 and many more. Were also having a Drum & Bass, dance tent with all of Hulls best DJ's including DJs from Deja Vu, Shinobi, Different Language, Home Sweet Home, Sexylectro and Funky.
Dancers and entertainers will also be there on the day to keep faces smailing and best of all, this ones FREE!
We're hoping that this day is gonna be massive as its a free festival packed with Hulls finest along with clothes, merch and food stalls from all your favourite places in Hull. We're hoping the day is going to go off with a bang and as all the bands and DJ's are now confimed we'll be on the starting line to run out and start promoting like wild dogs with Flyers, posters etc so that every man, woman, student, small dog knows that this festival is going on!
Lets make this a success in our City and hope that we can make it an annual occurance!
