Then this could be for you.

Souled Out Sundays at The Linnet started a couple of months back.
100% VINYL - nothing but sweet soul music, with a juicy slice of funk and classic Motown and Northern Soul getting played on the 1's and 2's, with scene DVDs on the plasmas. It really is a great night to be involved with.
As well as myself hosting it and playing some of my little soul treasures, I've managed to enrol the help of such DJ luminaries as Seven Inch Steve (Satisfaction & Shakedown), Rich Tea (Satisfaction & Shakedown), John Peters (Funkywormhole), Shane (Hull Mod Club) and the bearded Robbie Peru (Pass The Peas) to get the night off the ground. It really has been a pleasure working with these guys, as they know they're stuff and are all in possession of some of the coolest cuts to grace this planet.
The night is slowly but surely proving to be a little gem. We've recently experienced a great few nights down there with some great people in attendance.
However much we fully support the local Soul Clubs and the Northern Soul scene, we don't advocate pretensions, all the music played on the night is played because we love it and it's sweet, not because it cost £500 and it's the only copy available on that label. So that said - expect to hear classics alongside rarities.
This Sunday - 16th March- we're giving away 50 Cds of our first Souled Out Sunday Compilation - why not come and join us and find out what all the fuss is about.
It's not for everyone, but if you like James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding etc, you'll love it.
Be great to see you down there.
