sounds interesting. on the list of 'we play stuff like...' there are about 3 things I've never heard of and the rest is all stuff I like.
give us more than 1 day's notice if you do another one
having said that, I'd advise that lamp plays a lot of electro on a saturday and so you might be better off doing it on a different night..? just a thought

The guys who put it on only sent me the flyer the night before...sorry 
But its on once per month so ill have a look through my book and see when the next one is. 
The guys who put it on are not competing with Lamp on a Saturday, The organisers are "Lamp goers". Its the only night they have free and its a large area to be able to dance. They started it off doing a few nights for their friends @ The Ringside as it is cheap beer, save money on taxis to Welly afterwards and they enjoy dj'ing. They then decided to give free glowsticks away, extend the night til later (so they can still get to Welly) and just let everyone in. Thats why its free entry.
Its a low key event with good music. Ill let you know when the next one is over the next couple of days.

I've been very anti Ringside in the past but i may consider giving it another whirl, afterall, theres nowt else exciting happening

Its ok being anti Ringside...your entitled to your opinion. And, i agree, some of the stuff that people ask me to put on is not my fav. But i try to cater for all.
Thing is, will you be anti Ringside when your suffering from the biggest Jager hang over ever!!!...i am every Sat and Sun Morning.

aye, its the jaeg thats temptin it for me....i'll get myself down there with a full stomach nicely lined with curry and let Mr Jaegermeister do his worse!
