TWISTED GROOVES 2ND BIRTHDAY,25TH APRIL @ ROUGE,HULL
This month at Twisted Grooves we re celebrating our 2nd BIRTHDAY!
It has been an awsome 2 years for us and the Twisted Grooves crew would like to thank all the dj's who have played and we would also like to send a massive thanks to all who have supported us.... we have had a wicked time putting on the night and hope to continue doing so. Arrive early for giveaways !!! you know it makes sense!
THIS MONTH WE HAVE A TREAT FOR YOU ALL AS WE HAVE 2 GUEST DJ'S FOR YOU PLEASURE.
First is CRAIG HAMILTON
Craig has been dj’ing for over 10 years, playing many venues worldwide. In 2005 he decided to start giving something back to the scene after being heavily influenced by the US house sound, producing & remixing tracks for some notable labels including, Tango Recordings, Greenhouse, Yakuza & Control. Late 2006 saw the birth of Flatpack Traxx, a project started with Leon Knowles. Over the past year the label has grown & grown, with about 20 releases from a number of different artists. Craig is highly sought after for both his DJing skills & his production work,as a result of this he's embarking on a US tour in June!!
Then we have GROOVE FEDERATION
Groove Federation is a Deep House Collaboration between Daz Payton and Nath Walwyn.
Both members of Groove Federation have been DJ'ing from there early teenage years onwards playing in some 15 Venues+ across the Midlands. There unique DJ'ing Styles have over the years covered varied musical tastes including - Disco, Funk, Jazz, Breakbeat, Chillout, Trance, Techno, Soulful/Latin & Funky House.
With this unique insight into various styles of DJ'ing it seemed fit to turn their attention to music production.
So in 2000 the Groove Federation lads got hold of the necessary bits and went to work. After a lot of experimenting with sounds from all genres Groove Federation developed their own way to blend this with a Deep Underground flavor.
After many sleepless nights and an endless amount of effort from the lads they emerged 6 years later with a stream of tracks ready for the offering.
With a combining total of 12 years Music Production and 25 years Dj’ing experience be sure to look out for the "Groove Federation"
