Its been running for over a year...and is very successful/popular...so call it what you will as long as it is enjoyed

There are always whistles and glowsticks at these events...its a scene thing.

2 responses...No, Kareoke is not king. (TBH - I hate it but if others like it, fair enough)

...Yes there is unofficial Kareoke on a Sat night if people want it but that is only because our DJ has the facility to do it. In reallity, it is generally full of people having a good laugh, Dancing on the Professional Pole (e.g Pole for Fitness), and requesting music. Its away from the trouble of the town centre, half the price of Prinny ave...and you get served in under 5 minutes.

(I also go through tonnes of Jager as well...having 2 machines is deadly...lol)

If your into your Rock on the other hand...get in an a friday. Its just like spiders but without the door charge, arsy bouncers and children

Owh a few nasty comments on here!

Hullvibe have bee to Ringside a few times and it does attract a brilliant crowd!

Whats wrong with Kareoke and being an amatuer Pole Dancer after a few Jaegermeisters? Sound like fun to us!

Thanks for your support as always. People hear the name Ringside and get the wrong impression nowadays . But the people who do attend enjoy themselves. Its an untapped source of fun.

Kareoke can be fun. I have seen true rockers (the "A" typical rocker) sing on there...to Hadaway - What is love. Now that does not happen much

I also had all the "Pole for Fitness" teachers and students in a couple of sundays ago...and it was the most fun i have seen around one pole.

Hull vibe will always be welcome @ The Ringside.

A rock night and a hardcore night in the same place at the same time? Are you mad? That's gonna go down well.lol. It'll look like something out of Shaun of the Dead. Friday's are all about Shinobi. (bias i know).xxx

We have done the two together on many occasions. The secret is:

Upstairs gets:

1) Get "Door Bird" Angie on the door.

If she is unavailable,

2) Sunny (Baracuda) does it

(other more respected door staff are also used.)

So there is no trouble upstairs.

Downstairs

The rockers are a good bunch and are there every friday. Ringside is their home and they will look after it at what ever the cost.

So, to answer your question...no, i am not mad. (ask my GP...lol)

I have never been to Shinobi but have seen it advertised. Will have to try it one time.
