That's right we are moving on from the Lamp, but don't worry we have some bigger and better things to come in May and August. We will be revealing all very very soon...
We are pulling out all the stops to make Bank Holiday Sunday 4th May @ the Lamp one massive party. We have Richard Seeley (veryverywrongindeed) and a special surprise guest along with residents the Work DJs and us Different Language.
 
If you’ve been to a Different Language party at the Lamp previously, then spot yourself on our projector screen behind the bar area. The first 100 people through the door will receive a copy of Different Language’s brand new mix. The Lamp will be decorated with our stylish Moroccan themed décor and with it been the first of our summer parties we’ll be having fresh fruit and the Lamp will be putting on some summer drink promotions.
As usual, the parties continue to raise money for the St. Andrew’s Children’s Hospice and we have several collection points at the bar, all donations are gratefully received. We are an official Deja Vu pre-party with them celebrating their 16th Birthday with guests DJ Sneak and Howard Donald.
Things kick off from 2pm and if you get in before 4pm, it’s FREE ENTRY! After 4pm entry is only £2 and considering the line up and what we put on down at the Lamp a bit of loose change is a bargain. We go on until 9pm and then Shinobi take over the Lamp for their Bank Holiday party.
Despite the snow back in March we amazingly had over 350 people turn up before 9pm so we hope to see everyone for one last summer party down at the Lamp!

Entry: FREE before 4pm, £2 after

how come your moving from the lamp? its a great venue and in just the right place for a pre welly party

We are leaving the Lamp for a few reasons but mainly to move the party forward and continue to put on a quality Bank Holiday daytime party!
We have got 2 really exciting parties planned for both May 25th and August 24th and we'll be releasing venue and guest info very very soon.
It keeps things fresh and interesting for everyone who comes to our parties. We hope everyone can make it down to the Lamp for one last time!

Your leaving the Lamp?! Thats big news!
You better be moving somewhere with a nice big terrace boys! and preferably a BBQ! aww I really like the Terrace Parties at Lamp, why stop now when you've got such a good thing going?
Well it depends on where your moving it too, go on, tell us...

We are sorry to be leaving the Lamp as we've had some fantastic parties there over the last year. Never say never, we could be back there later in the winter months, but to continue our summer parties outside and make them even better we have to move on...

For our summer parties, we are moving over to the stylish LIMELIGHT down Alfred Gelder Street. We will be rocking their brand new outdoor terrace and have lined up some very special guests to join us.
We will be putting on a daytime BBQ, special drink promotions, CD Giveaways, DJ’s on the terrace and if we get the sunshine, this will certainly be the only place to be on a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon!
