"A soulful bassline fills the air, the groove within me stirs. In comes a stomping beat and my feet begin to move. I make my way through the crowd to see hair, hats and crazy dancing. Then came the guitars driving, intelligent riffs and infectious rhythms, completed by anthemic melodies, cleverly worked four-way harmonies citing simple but thoughtful lyrics led by a front man with all the charisma and balls you would expect from a Rock & roll Soul outfit ready to take on the world.
